Wright Popcorn and Nut Company Inc. Recalls Product

San Francisco -- March 27, 2009 --- Wright Popcorn, San Francisco California, today announced a voluntary nationwide recall of Wright’s 2 1/4oz. Caramelcorn Bars containing dry roasted unsalted split peanuts. We are also recalling Peanut Corp of America’s Small Chop Peanuts 30# Bulk Boxes. This is a precautionary measure resulting from the Peanut Corporation of America’s expanded recall for all products that have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Wright Popcorn Carmelcorn Bars and Peanut Corporation of America Small Chop Peanuts 30# Bulk Boxes were distributed nationwide.

We are recalling all the following products from January 2007 through February 2009.

Wright’s 2 1/4oz. Carmelcorn Bars

Packed 50 per case or sold individually

Peanut Corporation of America Small Chop Peanuts 30# Bulk Boxes

No other products or are being recalled from Wright Popcorn.Wright Popcorn has not received any Consumer illness complaints associated with either product.
