Whole Foods Market Recalls Select Peanuts And Other Peanut Products


March 1, 2009 -- Whole Foods Market of Bellevue, Washington is recalling seven peanut and peanut containing products, plus self-serve grind Peanut Butter due to potential salmonella contamination. The peanut products and self-grind peanut butter made from them were manufactured using peanut products recalled by Peanut Corporation of American because they had the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

The peanut products and peanut butter made from them were distributed throughout Washington and Oregon through Whole Foods Market stores in the bulk foods section from Jan 1 2007 to Feb 13 2009.
