March 6, 2009, Mixed Nuts Inc., Pacoima, CA is voluntarily recalling all of its packaged "Premium Orchard” and “Snack’rs” Trail mix sold on or prior to Jan/27/2009 because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
No known illnesses have been reported to date in connection with these products.
The potential for contamination was noted when a nationwide recall was announced by the Peanut Corporation of America (PCA)'s Blakely and Texas plants, one of the peanut suppliers for "Premium Orchard” and “Snack’rs” trail mix line.
The recalled "Premium Orchard” and “Snack’rs” trail mix line was distributed in retail stores: Save Mart Super Markets, Ca, Woodman’s Markets, WI, Smart and Final CA, Jons Market Place, CA.
