Cornucopia Natural Foods Recalls Bulk Self-Serve Grind Peanut Butter.

Cornucopia Natural Foods of Redmond, OR is recalling bulk self-serve grind peanut butter, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The product was manufactured using peanut products recalled by Peanut Corporation of American because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

The products were distributed in Central Oregon through their retail store located in Redmond, OR.

Bulk self-serve grind peanut butter, was available for customers to grind using in-store grinder. Customers could use their own container or 8 oz, 16 oz and 32 oz containers were provided. The product is unlabeled and does not have UPC or lot codes. The product was sold between January 1, 2007 and February 10th, 2009.

No known illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this product/these products. The recall was initiated after it was determined that the peanut product received was manufactured by Peanut Corporation of America.

Consumers who have purchased Bulk self-serve grind peanut butter between January 1, 2007 and February 10th, 2009 from Cornucopia Natural Foods are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
