Eillien’s Candies, Inc. Issues Voluntary Recall Of Pistachio Products.

Green Bay, WI – (April 8, 2009) - Eillien’s Candies Inc. is conducting a voluntary recall of the products listed below. This voluntary recall is being conducted as a precautionary measure due to the fact that Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella has expanded their recall to include all roasted, shelled and in-shell Pistachio Nuts from the 2008 crop year because they may be contaminated with salmonella.

The below products contain a sell by date prior to 01/08/10 and were sold in Grocery, Drug, and Mass Merchants in CA, CO, IA, ID, IL, KS, MI, MN, MO, MT, ND, NE, OR, SD, UT, WA, WI, WY.

The product shown should not be consumed, but rather returned to the store for a refund or exchange.

Eillien’s Candies, Inc. has not received any consumer or customer complaints on this product and there have been no reported illnesses associated with this product.
